After midnight

What we serve at one in the morning is what we serve at one in the afternoon.

In Lisbon, by midnight, almost every kitchen has turned off the lights. After that, dinner is a matter of luck — a cheese board, a sandwich, whatever is left.

Not here. The full menu — octopus lagareiro, shellfish rice, the chargrilled meat board — leaves the kitchen until 02:30, seven days a week, all year.

It is the one thing in this house nobody copies, because nobody wants the shift.

Book a table after midnight

Last table 02:00. No card. Friday and Saturday almost always fill up — Sunday to Thursday there is nearly always a table, even at midnight.
